This program is a drop-in style after-school activities club. With topics ranging from chess to outdoor games, participants can learn about a topic or skill with an exploratory and experiential approach.

“It is unique in providing a non-pressured, club-like environment. It is an alternative to the more competitive sports team vibe and gives the opportunity to socialize outside of school with kids who might not normally get together for play dates (whether because they have different interests and backgrounds, or because they are not part of the same grade level). I also like that the class focused on fun activities that would not typically be found in an extracurricular class setting (e.g. board games) and require the children to learn to navigate winning and losing gracefully.”
