Elder Libraries Project

The Elder Libraries Project by Matthew Liu is an initiative to capture, preserve, and share the life stories and wisdom of our senior residents through meaningful recorded conversations with youth and older adult volunteers. By bringing generations together in thoughtful conversations, the project fights community isolation while safeguarding the oral histories that might otherwise be lost.

Participants will engage in conversations that honor the experiences of older adults and transform their stories into a lasting keepsake, a beautifully compiled physical book that preserves their voices for future generations.
