DPYLC Jr. (Danny's Place Youth Leadership Council Jr.) is a free program for 7th and 8th graders that meets once a month on Mondays after school. This program has several purposes:

• To connect with other 7th and 8th graders and create friendships

• To participate in community service and leadership opportunities through different activities

• To connect with high school students in a close-peer mentor relationship

• To inform Danny's Place on the current needs of the youth, specifically in Jr High

Each month, two members of our youth leadership council will facilitate the DPYLC Jr program (with adult supervision and support) by leading an activity. During the activity, high school students will serve as close-peer mentors and provide an environment of safety and comfort.
