Kicking off a new offering - Days Off at Danny’s Place, please join us in celebrating the Lunar New Year! Thanks to the generous support of our community partner, Acton Chinese Language School, this first day-off will feature Chinese cultural stories and engaging creative projects.

Immerse yourself in the magic of Lunar New Year with a morning packed full of activities, crafts, and cultural exploration. Whether you’re discovering the stories behind the Chinese Zodiac, practicing calligraphy, or trying out a dragon dance, this event offers something fun and educational for everyone!

What’s Happening:
Interactive Storytime: Dive into the traditions of Chinese New Year with an engaging read-aloud.
Zodiac Animals Activities: Learn the 12 zodiac animals, discover your sign, and even say them in Chinese!
Cultural Videos: Experience the beauty of Lion Dances, Spring Festival celebrations, and more.
Dragon Dance Parade: Craft a dragon together and bring it to life in a vibrant parade!
Creative Crafts: Write "福" (Fu), make red paper cutouts, and design Lunar New Year décor to take home.

  • This event is open to everyone in K - 12 Grade!.
