Danny's Place provides dedicated space during after-school hours for 6th through 12th
graders right on the AB campus. We offer a place for students to relax and enjoy unstructured
time, or participate in classes and workshops targeted for their age and interests. Special
events and activities are held in the evenings to give our youth a safe place to go and have
fun with their friends.
Attendance at the center is fee-based, with memberships running from early September
through early August. Non-members and guests may attend for a $5 visit fee.
Our programming and activities are designed to improve the lives of our youth and our
community. We have embraced the Search Institute's framework of 40 Developmental Assets
in our program development and grant funding. Through extensive research, the Assets have
been identified as positive experiences and personal qualities that young people need
during critical adolescent years to influence the choices they make, and help them become
caring, responsible adults.
